Insects and Monarch Tagging
Learn about the fascinating life of the monarch butterfly and catch monarchs and other insects in the prairie! Be a citizen scientist and help tag any monarchs we might be lucky enough to catch to aid in monarch research and send them on their way to Mexico! Open to any scout troop. Adventure out onto Warner’s trails using GPS units in search of a geocache! First, learn about geocaching, and how to use a GPS unit. Make an item to trade at a cache. Best suited for 3rd grade and older. Helps fulfill Junior Geocacher badge. Register in advance. $7/child.

Maple Syrup and Trees
March means maple syrup madness at Warner! We will learn about the process of making the tasty treat and maple syruping history. We’ll also hike through our sugar bush, do a taste test, and make a craft. Open to any scout troop. Register in advance. $7/child.
Cancellation policy: Cancellation more than 1 week prior to program, charged $30 processing fee. Cancellation 2-6 days prior to program, charged 50% of program fee. Day before cancellation or no show, charged for full program fee. Programs are held rain or shine. In case of severe weather, indoor activities will take place until conditions are safe. Warner may cancel a program in extreme weather situations, and will communicate this with program participants. Participants are not charged if Warner cancels a program due to conditions.
